We do Global Talent because ...
- We want to be able to provide young people an opportunity to enhance your university education through practical skills application and development in a real-life international work setting.
- We believe that by going abroad with AIESEC will redefine the way you see and understand the world. Come back home with a greater self-awareness, new sense of purpose and direction in life.
- We want young people to stand out from the rest by working abroad and gaining both personal development and marketable skills for employment.
Who can go on Global Talent internship?
To qualify as an EP (exchange participant), a person must be:
- 18-30 years of age by the start of the internship
- Be at the latest within two (2) years after obtaining his/her last tertiary degree
- Be at the latest within three (3) years after completing a full time AIESEC
- Take up a maximum period of 36 months of Exchange Programme in total. These 36 months can be allocated whenever and in whichever order.
- Apply for an Exchange with any country or territory in which he/she has lived for a minimum period of six (6) weeks
- Have an Exchange in any entity with the exception of entities in which they have lived for more than two (2) years in the last ten (10) years.

What are subproducts?
Global Talent is our main product but under it we offer different kind of internships, hence it is called "subproducts". Here in AIESEC in Australia, we offer 4 main subproducts: Teaching, Marketing/Sales, IT and Global Entrepreneurs. Because each subproduct is very different, the key is to understand the global supply, basic job description and profiles needed in order to target the right market per subproduct and do good sales.

GE is a new subproduct this year where the student does an unpaid internship in a startup company abroad.
1) TEACHING
- Global Supply: Teaching TNs are the most abundant in the AIESEC network.
- Basic Job Description: Most of the Teaching opportunities are in language education and basic education (if EPs want to teach Engineering, you won’t find that!)
- Average Duration: Average duration will be 3 months, 6 months and 1 year (usually it’s long term because they want the teacher to really be with the students all throughout. With our partners, only indonesia offer short term teaching (6-12 weeks).
- Profiles Needed: Excellent to Native English, Anyone with good communication skills, Preferred Education background but not required.
- Recommended Target Market: Graduating or Graduated Education, Arts, Psychology and Science students. Undergraduates only for short-term teaching.
2) MARKETING/SALES
- Global Supply: 2nd highest supply of TNs globally
- Basic Job Description: For marketing, it ranges from market research to social media management. For sales, it ranges from market research to cold calling to B2B sales. (Better to check each TN for more detailed job description)
- Average Duration: 6 months to 1 year
- Profiles Needed: Business background, preferred to have experience
- Recommended Target Market: Graduating or Graduated Business Students
3) IT
- Global Supply: 3rd highest supply of TNs globally
- Basic Job Description: Most of the opportunities are in the field of software development, web development, app development and program analyst. (Better to check each TN for specific skills needed)
- Average Duration: 6 months to 1 year
- Profiles Needed: Academic background, Skills in using IT programs specified by the TN
- Recommended Target Market: Graduating or Graduated IT students
4) Global Entrepreneurs (GE)
GE is a new subproduct this year where the student does an unpaid internship in a startup company abroad.
- Global Supply: not a lot because it is just starting but it rising very quickly (predicted to be the next big thing)
- Basic Job Description: Most of GE opportunities are in the field of Marketing, some Sales and a few IT.
- Average Duration: 6-12 weeks
- Profiles Needed: will vary per TN
- Recommended Target Market: Undergraduates looking for an internship during the break, Students or recent graduates interested in joining or creating their own startup
